Walking the streets of Tangier, one of the things that draws attention are the women wearing straw hats trimmed with braids of black thread and different clothes from other women living in the city. Asking for information from the locals, they told me they were farmers coming to Tangier from the surrounding areas to sell their own fruit and vegetables.I suggest you to get and taste the goat cheese that these women sell on the streets of the city. Most of these women sell their products in the medina, especially south of the Grand Souk and in some of the covered markets of the area, but there are others that are positioned in other areas of the old town. By the way, one tip: be careful when you photograph them, is better to ask for permission (they usually tell you that you cannot) or to photograph them with discretion.
