Day 1

Middle Atlas – Merzouga Desert – Camel trek and overnight in the Berber tent

Your trip starts in the morning, offering you a free pick up from your accommodation in Fes. First, we will pass through the beautiful Middle Atlas Mountains villages. Stopping first, at Ifrane, Morocco’s little Switzerland. The first thing, you will realize in this village is the french style, the multicolored trees, and the clean streets. Moreover, Ifrane is known for its sky resort. Continuing our journey, our nest stop will be in the cedar forest Near Azrou, a berber villages. In the fiest place, the forest is the largest one in Morocco, and the residence of the Barbary monkeys. After a stop on the forest to enjoy the coolness and quietness of the place, we will move to Midelt where we will have lunch. Next, we will continue through the landscapes of the High Atlas Mountains, passing by Tiz Ntalghamt pass. We will stop at the magnificent Ziz Valley, for an opportunity to capture some splendor pictures of the panoramic views. While passing by Errachidia, you will observe how the scenery alters to uncover hints of the desert. Finally, you will arrive to Merzouga village in the afternoon, after passing Erfoud ﹙the fossil city﹚, and rissani, suggesting some stops, to picture the surrounding landscape, and the nomadic villages. Upon arrival to Merzouga, you will be transferred to your riad, where you will be welcomed with a glass of mint tea. Then, you will find the camels waiting for you to trek to the camp desert, for a dramatic sunset from the sandy dunes, and a delicious dinner coupled with the rhythm of the drums. Overnight will be in the in the desert under the glistening sky.

Day 2

Merzouga Desert – Nomads Families – Tisardmin Oasis – Khamlia – Erg Chebbi

In this day you will discover the beautiful berber villages. This day starts by an early morning wake up, for a beautiful scenery of the sunrise, enjoying the morning breeze and the sand dunes seas. After that, we will trek back to Merzouga desert for a refreshing shower and a healthy breakfast. Then, we will drive to Erg Chebbi dunes, the highest dunes in Morocco, heights of ﹙250m﹚. Continuing through the road that was used for “Paris Dakar”, and its end limited with the Algerian frontier. Moving forward in the same way, our next stop will be at Tissardmin, the area is well known for the abundant oasis. In the first place, you will glimpse fossil quarries, that still work in the area. From there, we will continue to Khamlia, contemplating the nomadic berber villages, and suggesting a stop to learn about their customs and traditions. Upon arrival to Khamlia village, which people’s are originated from Mali and Sudan. In the first place, you will be welcomed by a cup of mint tea, while sitting back enjoying the their spiritual music known as Gnawa. Finally, we will drive back to your accommodation to relax and enjoy the afternoon near the desert.Overnight, will be in the accommodation.

Day 3

Merzouga Desert – Rissani Market – Erfoud Fossil’s – Todra Gorges – Dadés Valley

The next day, after breakfast, we will leave Sahara Desert to Rissani. In particular, we will visit the local market of Rissani, which is vivid only in tuesday, thursday and saturday. Then, we will visit the museum of fossils in Erfoud, where you will be amazed by the sublime fossil masterpieces. After that, we will move forward through Tinjdad and Touroug groves, until we reach Todra gorges, one of the best gorges in high atlas mountains. Carved between hard places and jagged rocks, Todra gorges give an experience of life time due to its beautiful deep ravine that is well known among rock climbers. After a short walk in the gorge, we will have free time for Lunch. Finally, we will continue to Dades valley, known as the monkey “toes”. The place is just amazing surrounded by mauve mountains, orchards of figs, crumbling kasbahs. Night will be in this amazing gorge.

Day 4

Dadés Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – High Atlas – Marrakech

In the next morning, after breakfast, we will enjoy the beautiful views of kasbah before heading to rose valley. Continuing through the road of thousand Kasbah, making many stops to glimpse and picture the red adobe house. Next, we will arrive to Skoura, you will be amazed by the rose valley and the stretching palm groves. then, our next stop will be in Ouarzazate known as Morocco Hollywoood. In the first place, you will visit the Kasbah of Taourirt, Cinema studios. Then, we will reach Ait Ben Haddou a fortified Kasbah ﹙castle﹚ which is the largest clay Kasbah in Morocco, and the UNESCO world heritage site. Moreover, the Kasbah is the place for many Hollywood movies that were filmed, like, The Jewel of the Nile, Gladiator and the Mummy Lunch will be in the Kasbah. Finally, we will drive to Marrakech passing by Tizi n Tichka pass ﹙2,260m high﹚ to capture some pictures. Then, we will arrive to Marrakech, where your driver will transport you to your accommodation.

Excepcional visita y maravilloso Hassan!!!!

Del 8 al 12 de agosto de 2018, un grupo de 4 amigos hemos visitado Fez y desde allí hasta el desierto (Merzourga), el viaje ha sido una experiencia maravillosa, brillante y excepcional para conocer la cultural local y sitios donde hemos podido mezclarnos con los locales de tal manera que hemos sido uno más.

Era nuestro primer viaje a Marruecos y todos llevábamos un concepto erróneo de lo que nos íbamos a encontrar y lo que ahora podemos decir.

Empezando por Hassan el guía, conductor, amigo incluso podemos decir, que nos ha acompañado a lo largo de todo el viaje.

Persona entrañable y de gran sentido del humor que domina el idioma a la perfección e intercede en todo lo necesario.

Nuestro viaje ha sido gestionado al completo por él (a excepción de los vuelos) desde que nos bajamos del avión, hasta que regresamos al aeropuerto.

Hoteles de categoría, con una limpieza extrema, personas humildes y acogedoras que te dan en todo momento lo mejor de cada uno de ellos.

Esta experiencia no es para contarla, sino para vivirla. No caigáis en los tópicos y dejaros sorprender por las maravillas del desierto, los contrastes en los paisajes y el clima, la luminosidad y sobretodo la gratitud de sus habitantes.

Hassan, lleno de humildad, entrega y carisma, hará que el tiempo vuele a su alrededor, explicará cada detalle y resolverá cada duda que surja, os llevará a los mejores lugares y con hermosas vistas.

El desierto os espera, con todas las comodidades posibles y la población que lo rodea dispuesta a recibiros con los brazos abiertos.

Fez maravilloso!!!!
